Ferro-Mon Sensor(Ferrous Debris Sensor)

Ferro-Mon Sensor provides warning signal in real time when amount of wear particles show sudden sharp increase indicating abnormal wear, which is new concept of real time on-line monitoring system for ferromagnetic wear particles.

Ferro-Mon Sensor can be applied for all kinds of rotating equipment, particularly for gearbox, engine, pump and bearing. According to statistics, 80% of gearbox failure comes from lubrication problem and 25% from contamination. Unfortunately, most of engineers usually overlook lubrication management, and take actions just after equipment shut down, which is huge loss to the customer. Therefore, it is absolutely required to monitor and control oil contamination status in order to prevent failure at early stage and prolong life of the gearbox.

Feature

 Ferro-Mon Sensor consists of Probe, Control Box, Cable and PC Software. Probe can be installed on the bottom of reservoir or tank, or on the return line pipe in case of forced circulation lubrication.

The concentration (%) of particles is displayed in real time on the control box installed on site, and the LED lamp color changes according to the alarm setting. Also, full scale and zero scale setting can easily be done on site, so user can adjust scale setting values by himself depending on application.
