DESCRIPTION

AFTEK PU 25 is a one component polyurethane based elastomeric sealant which cures 

under the effect of atmospheric humidity to form a tough and flexible seal joint with excellent movement performance. AFTEK PU25 performs excellent adhesion on most building

materials with proven weather resistance against UV, Ozone etc.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

■ AFTEK  PU 25 adheres without the use of primer to most common building 
   materials; joint surface should be sound, dry, clean and free from dust, oil, 

   grease rust, etc. Backer rod or joint filler should be used in joints to ensure 

   correct joint design when applicable.

■Joint edges should be protected with masking tape during application in accordance 
   with good sealant application.

■ AFTEK PU 25 sausage pack should be applied using either a manual or air

   pressure Sealant Gun applicator.

■ Select the correct size metal or plastic nozzle and carefully fill the joint ensuring an

   even flow of the sealant and that there are no air-pockets surplus sealant should 

   be removed with a spatula or equivalent tooling.

■ The joint surface can be smoothed to a concave finish. Remove any masking tape w
    ithin 1 hour of application or prior to the hardening of the sealant.
