DESCRIPTION

Is a cement based waterproofing slurry which contains a high quality polymer and selected filler such as silica sand and other additives. When it dry will provide a hard and abrasion resistant waterproofing layer which can be tiled over sucessfully.

It can be used as underlayment to prevent water seepage from the ground before

laying marble, granite, natural stone, timber floor, carpet and vinyl.

DAMPSCOAT SL is compatible with concrete and any mixture of cement-sand rendering or plastering. After dry, it can be painted over with any water or

solvent based paint.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATIONS

Substrate must be clean, sound, dry and free of oil, grease, curing compound or any

loose materials. Any cracks, honeycombs and hole must be repaired with “CA-007 Non Shrink Grout”. Make sure concrete and cement substrate must be saturated (damps not wet) with clean water before applying DAMPSCOAT SL.

MIXING PROCEDURE

Pour liquid part into empty and clean container, then slowly add powder part whilst stirring with a low speed electric drill mixer with suitable paddle. Mixing Ratio : 8L Liquid with 25Kg powder Mix untill a homogeneous mixture is obtained and make sure

there is no lumps and unmixed powder is left in the mixture. The applications must be done in minimum of two coats. The interval time between the first and second coat shall be after 2~4 hours curing upon the first coat applications. The first coat in one direction and the second coat crossing to the first coat.
