● It does not happen the breakdown because it is simple structure.
● It is not frozen in winter.
● P.T.O manipulation is simple.
● It does not do wrong operation because it has a safety cover.
● ON or OFF of PTO can be checked by the lamp,

Mounting Instructions:  

 1. You should know car noise of in neutral. 

    It is needed to compare with noise  after installing P.T.O.

2. Remove iron cover that is covering area in which oil plug of Transmission and P.T.O are installed.

     Gasket of transmission part and liquid gasket should be removed by using knife or wire brush.

     Cautions: You should implement the work with pieces of cloth into the transmission's hole to prevent a foreign  

                     object from entering into the transmission's hole while removing the gasket and liquid gasket.

3. Remember shaked amount of the transmission gear, and then remember shaked amount with P.T.O turned on as 

   well. Above two shaking amount are very important data when you check backlash after P.T.O installation.

4. Set up the appropriate number of gaskets. You should not use an adhesive between the gaskets to add or
   subtract a gasket for obtainning proper gasket.

5. The followings are method of installation of a gasket and the precautions when installing P.T.O.

    1) It has to be avoided that gaskets are used 3 or more.

    2) 1 gasket is usually used, but in a special case thick or thin one is necessary.

    3) Because the lubricant of transmission is supplied in P.T.O, so you should be aware of leaks.

    4) More than 2 gaskets may be needed for the proper backlash.

   Cautions: When using more than one gasket, then you must apply liquid gasket on the other side.

 6. Install P.T.O in the transmission and fasten bolts and nuts with torque 400~490kgf.cm.

   Fasten the standard bolts first at this time. 

7. Turn on the P.T.O and check the backlash. At this moment, this should be more than sum of backlash amount of 

    transmission and P.T.O mentioned on the article 3.

8. Checking the backlash is very important because it is a fundamental cause of damaged transmission and P.T.O.

9. Methods to check backlash are as the followings.

    ○ You can check it by moving the P.T.O output shaft without stepping on clutch when P.T.O is turned on.

    ○ When you step on clutch and move the P.T.O output shaft under P.T.O turned on, the shaft should be rotated 

       softly. 

10. Once the proper backlash adjustment is completed, then fasten the standard bolts and nuts with the torque 

      400~490kgf.cm. 

  11. When using more than one gasket, then you must apply liquid gasket on the other side.

 12. After starting the vehicle and stepping on the clutch without fail, turn on the P.T.O and check the noise.

 13. If the noise occurs, at this moment, you should adjust the backlash again.
