Knuckle boom crane is a type of full rotational marine crane. This deck crane is also a type of crane where a horizontal member (supporting a moveable hoist) is fixed to a wall or to a floor-mounted pillar. Good performance, simple operation, reliable rotation, and flexible compact structure make it own high operation efficiency. A knuckle boom crane is quite similar to a standard crane, but the boom articulates at the 'knuckle' near the middle, folding back like a finger. This design offers a compact size for storage and control. Their arms are much lighter than boom truck cranes, and they are designed to allow for more payloads. This deck crane comes with different types of control systems, such as stand up, control from the ground, seat control and radio remote control. Knuckle boom crane are used in industrial premises and military vehicles. This deck crane may swing through an arc to give additional lateral movement.
