White Fused Alumina is produced by fusing calcined alumina. It is white in colour, a dense mineral and has predominantly large crystals of Alpha Alumina.

Refractories

White Fused Alumina is widely used in the refractory industry as it is a very pure, low iron, high alumina material suitable for a range of applications.Specific refractory applications include high tech refractory castables, isostatic pressed refractories and pre-cast refractory shapes.

Available grades:  0-1mm, 1-3mm, 3-5mm, 5-8mm, 100mesh, 200mesh, 325mesh

Abrasives

Due to its hardness (Mohs Hardness >9), White Fused Alumina is an ideal material for abrasive applications including sandblasting, grinding, polishing and coated products.

Sizes: F8-F220 FEPA, JIS, ANSI Standard

White Fused Alumina finer grades are further graded into FEPA sizes F280-F2500 for precision abrasives, cutting, blasting or polishing. It's also used for precision abrasive tools for special equipment.
