Uses of oxidized bitumen
Oxidised asphalt specially uses in the chemical, fuel, paints, lacquers, varnishes, paper-pulp-board, textile processing, road construction, pavement ,crack seal also in repairmen, civil works, roofing, construction industries, sealing and insulating buildings, adhesive, construction materials additive, dust-binding, coating, insulating and impregnating agent, make rubber and plastic products. The blown asphalt 115/15 products are for paving, roofing.
Also used in asphalt based paints for corrosion protection of metals, in lining public works structures, adhesives in electrical laminates, base for synthetic turf.
However typical uses for oxidized asphalt 105/15 include roofing, pipe coating, Portland cement pavement, hydraulic applications, paint manufacturing.
It Used for protection of under ground concrete,bridges,culverts,retaining walls,tanks surroundings,dams,conduits and decks.
Oxidized Bitumen uses in built up water proofing system.
As a MOP coat for damp proofing.
Excellent bond and adhesive.
Raw material of mastic,primer and enamel.
Oxidized asphalt 115/15 has good resistance for vertical and sloped surfaces under direct of sunlight in the temprature exceeding more than 50C.
Blown asphalt is as raw material to produce of water proofing stuff.
