Commonly selected two materials for downhole control line tubings are Alloy 825 and 316L and sometimes Alloy 625 is also used. Alloy 825 is resistant to H2S and CO2, and Alloy 625 are highly resistant to in more severe sour well environment. The metal tubing is typically manufactured in both seamless and seam welded coil tubing forms.
