Product Information
This Satellite Mockup is a 1/3 scale model, having been made for about 60 days in 2016.
We focused on 2 basic points in making this model ; reflecting the exact details of the original satellite and maintaining semi-permanent life-span.
To achieve these goals, we have made 3Dcomputer design for the satellite mockup first from 2D drawings of original satellite. Based on 3D design, we selected the materials of each part like ABS and various metals, and decided how to process the materials and how to connect the parts.
The materials of each part have been processed by the unique combined processing technology of our own including 3D printing. This technology make it possible to express highly precise details-even 0.5mm dia. screw bolt. The finish of this Mockup is a time-consuming process, including urethane painting.
