Super Duplex 2507: Super Duplex 2507 offers the best combination of austenitic and ferrite structure. It is fabricated for the applications that need outstanding strength and excellent corrosion resistance properties. It offers superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion and chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. The super duplex 2507 can be used up to 600oF. It can be used in the presence of organic acids such as formic and acetic acids, and inorganic acids. It remains unaffected from intergranular corrosion. The steel 2507 offers low rate of thermal expansion.
