The mushrooms are divided into fruit body and mycelia, the specie we commonly eat is the

former one. The latter is a key component for living mushroom, which is root ball

that contains a lot of active components and nutrients for growth of the mushroom.

The mycelia of SANGHWANGA had a patent with a 7-times higher bioactive substances than

that of fruit body, and the mycelia is consigned to Institute of Agriculture and Life Science as a patented microbe.

When growing the mushroom, beta glucans are secreted, which is called as polysaccharide, a collective name for anti-cancer active substances, that enhances immune systems such as T lymphocytes. It doesn’t directly attack cancer cells, but, using the non-specific response, it activates immune functions of human’s normal cells so that it suppresses multiplication and recurrence of cancer cells, and it activates immune functions of T cell and B cell, kinds of immune cells, and it stimulates production of various cytokines by activating macrophages and entering them into cancer cells.

Beside, beta glucans are good for lowering blood sugar and decreasing in cholesterol, and it is good for anti-obesity effect by suppressing formation and accumulation of body fats
