1. High temperature resistance: Fire sleeving will withstand continuous exposure to 500° F (260°C); up to 2000°F (1090°C) for 15-20 minutes; and up to 3000°F (1650°C) for 15-30 seconds. And can obstruct the spatter of high temperature liquid melts and the heat radiation of flame to avoid burns.
2. Heat insulation: Can resist the invading of 98% heat from outside and keep the good working environment inside.
3. Waterproof: Can resist the invading of water and moisture.
4. Saving energy: After using, can improve the protective effective 5-6 times, reduce the maintenance and the medium evaporate. And reduce the cost.
5. Install without disconnecting hoses and cables.

Fire sleeving withstands repeated exposures to molten steel, molten aluminum and molten glass up to 3000°F (1650°C). The heavy coating of our proprietary iron oxide red silicone rubber compound sheds molten metal splash immediately, so very little heat transfer occurs. When exposed to flames, the silicone rubber transforms into a crust, creating a protective SiO2 refractory layer.
