Van Staal's Bail Spinning Reels are machined from ultradurable, quality materials that withstand the harshest saltwater environments. Body, spool and handle are machined from bar stock 6061-T6511 aluminum, while the center shaft and line roller are machined from solid titanium with a titanium-nitride coating. Main gear and pinion gear are machined from 416 HT stainless steel to ensure lasting use. Plus, it comes with an aluminum solid bail for those who prefer fishing with a bailed reel. Xwrap Oscillation System promotes perfect line lay that reduces wind knots and allows your cast to land within range of hard-to-reach fish in the surf.
