【Pharmacological Actions】
Sulphonamides. The pathopoiesis period of coccidian is during epigamy and gametic reproduction period of developmental history especially the second epigamy period. This medicine mainly effect to the second generation segmenter of asexual multiplication period, so the effect is strongest in 3th-4th day of infection. It has strong depressant effect to E. Maxima, Eimeria brunette, Eimena accrvulina.
【Indications】
Mainly used in the treatment of sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbit explosive coccidiosis; Can also be used in the treatment of cholera fowl and avian typhoid.
Symptoms: bradypsychia, anorexia, cecum swelling, bleeding, bloody stool, blutpunkte and white cubes in intestinal tract, the color of liver is bronze when cholera happened.
【Application and Dosage】
Broiler, Turkey: Oral administration in drinking water, 1g/L of drinking water; Oral administration in feeder: 2kg/T of feeder, used for 3 days continuously.
Rabbit: Oral administration in feeder, 2kg/T of feeder, used for 5 - 10 days continuously.
Sheep: Oral administration. 10% water solution, 1.2ml/kg b. W., used for 3 to 5 days continuously.
【Adverse Reaction】
1. Decrease the laying rate, increase the damage rate and broken-abnorm egg.
2. Has some toxicity to chicken.
【Caution】
It is forbidden to long-term use as additives of feed stuff. It is forbidden to used during
laying period.
