Ⅰ. JAPT 1106

JAPT 1106 is a copolymerized latex of carboxylated styrene-butadiene and cross-linking agent.
It was developed to satisfy consumer' desires of high-quality.

This product is very soft and doesn't harden nearly in winter.
And its adhesive strength is very excellent. So it is suitable as latex for carpet backing.
It is used as adhesive for fabric, binder for non-woven fabric and adhesion in abrasive.

Ⅲ. Characteristic

(1) Touch

Hardness of JAPT 1106 doesn't change according to seasons and it is very soft.
So it is suitable latex for tufted carpet or textile goods which is required soft feeling.

(2) High adhesive strength

JAPT 1106 shows prominent adhesive strength by reaction of carboxyl functional group
and other functional group. You can increase water-resistance and adhesive strength of textile by adding cross-linking agent to carboxylic acid monomer latex which is used processing goods of various textiles.
 And owing to its high surface tension, you can control permeability of compound 

materials when you use tufted carpet and needle punch carpet. In this points,
it is possible to exhibit good adhesive strength with secondary foam. Moreover you can
add a lot of fillers owing to composition of balanced high-polymers.

(3) Cross-linking

Methiol group is heated by cross-linking agent which is induced during other polymerization process between caboxylic group and other polymerization monomer's copolymerization.
And through this process JAPT 1106 is condensed and cross-linked.
Vinyl group is combined to polymer's main chain and methiol group is condensed
and cross-linked with other methiol group which is attached to other main chain when they are
 dried in high temperature.

So JAPT 1106 appears excellent adhesive strength and doesn't need to use other cross-linking agent during compounding.

(4) Application

JAPT 1106 is so mechanical, chemical stability of latex itself that you can treat it easily and store for the long time.
If you add proper appendix according to your needs, you can make and use product's Formulation.

(5) Aging-resistance

JAPT 1106 doesn't need antioxidant because of its excellent aging-resistance. But if you add a little of antioxidant,
you can get better aging-resistance. Generally, some people make use of Phenol system antioxidant which doesn't have pollutant factors. If you are in needs, we are pleased to inform how to use.

(6) Foaming

JAPT 1106 is not required to add blowing agent because of excellent foaming.

(7) Odor-free, Harmlessness

JAPT 1106 is synthetic latex of high purity.

It is made through careful manufacture process. So it doesn't smell nearly and you don't need to be anxious about bad smells or appearance of harmful materials.

Ⅳ. The Way to Use

JAPT 1106 is suitable as latex for carpet backing, adhesive for fabric,
binder for non-woven fabric and adhesion in abrasive.
It is very soft to touch and has high-stability of emulsion.
And though you put it in low temperature, it doesn't harden nearly.
So you can make certain goods which is required goods excellent adhesive strength, tunic efficiency, soft feeling.

Ⅴ. Caution

Jungang polytech is sufficiently considering about its mechanical, chemical stability,
but it is required with care to treat and store as follow :

(1) It is recommended to keep at 4 ～ 40℃ to prevent freezing.
The solidification or quality change can be occurred if it is stored below 0℃ and over 60℃.

(2) Please shake well regularly or seal with tight to avoid the solidification.
The solidification can be occurred at upper and bottom if it is stored for a long period without shaking.
It can be use after remove the solidified part. The general storage period with good product stability is about 6 month.

(3) Care not to mix with other chemicals for product stability.
It can be solidified if it is mixed with high density acid, alkali and other chemicals.

(4) It is recommended to store with stainless steel, glass-lining, alkali resistance paints or epoxy resin lining containers.

(5) In case of eye contact, wash it out completely and ask to your physician.
In case of skin contact, wash it out with enough clean water.
