Rectifier is an electrical device that converts Alternating Current (AC) which periodically reverses direction to Direct Current (DC) which flows in only one direction. Nowadays, most of plating equipment use Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) rectifier, known as switching rectifier compare with Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) since switching rectifier is cost saving, energy saving and good plating performance tool.

Inside Structure:

MB series rectifier is integrated by several individual modules. The electronic component in each module is encapsulated by a protective metal case, it makes every module corrosive resistance in the poor production line environment. Also, it acts like a heat sink for the electronic component, the rectifier can operate without other cooling facilities. Compact design is not only save up the protection device cost, but also occupy space, it makes the production line design more flexible.

Status Panel:

The status panel can monitor every output module in a rectifier. If unexpected input / output power appeared or the module's temperature too high, the LED indicator will be ignited to notify user. The rectifier also provide PLC signal output terminal. The PLC can read the rectifier working status as connecting to the rectifier. It makes the automation control easier.
