Product Information
Presentation : Ancient terraces covered with stony, clayey limestone soil.
Grape varieties : 40% Grenache, 40% Syrah, 20% Carignan*
Winemaking : The grapes are vinified separately. Grenache is vinified using stemmed grape maceration. Syrah 50% of carbonic maceration and 50% of stemmed grapes maceration. Carignan is vinified using carbonic fermentation. The grape varietals used in AOC Languedoc wines are strictly controlled : it is not allow to exceed 50 Hl/ha.
Tasting notes : The wine has a lovely deep ruby red colour. Powerful aromas of black current, pepper and the Garrigue. On the palate it is supple and powerful with velvety tannins, flavours of spices and black fruits. A full bodied wine with a long final.
Tasting advices : Ideal with duck steacks, roasted lamb and cheese platter. Temperature 16 to 18°C

The Castle was built by Galoisière the Blouin family Du Bouchet - an adviser to King Louis XV 18th century in the province of Anjou. The area occupied 800 acres of forests, farms and vineyards in the commune of Jarzé. The wine of Château de la Galoisière represents one of the best wines of the Loire Valley. At the end of the 19th century, Isidore Blouin Du Bouchet - Mayor Jarzé Knight of the Royal Order of St. Louis, having no children, the estate was passed to a distant relative - Comte de Belleville.
Belleville Family had one of the most modern Printing company, Publishing and Advertising in Paris. The famiile was operating a patent awarded by King Louis Philippe in 1847. Since the early 20th century, the head office and plant are located next to the prestigious Avenue des Champs-Elysées. For several decades, the family group is organized into several entities. The new generation, while remaining shareholder of the business of origin, carries over operational responsibility, focused on other activities.
Receiving the Castle Galoisière, Belleville family received parallel the cultural heritage of manufacturing and marketing of fine wine. With the ranking in 1855 at the request of the Emperor Napoleon III for the sole Médoc vineyards, great wines of Bordeaux are affirmed for decades as a symbol of excellence and authenticity in wine globally. Thereby Castle Galoisière is located in the Bordeaux region, especially in Pauillac in the heart of the most prestigieurs Vineyards (Château Lafite, Château Latour etc.). Improving the quality of wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon in recent years has prompted Castle Galoisière also to develop its presence in this region. Today, with an ancestral tradition, Castle Galoisière is able to provide high quality wines authenticity guarantee for consumers worldwide.
