Portable Butane gas cartridge

2) The complete product can be filled with more than 75% ISO butane upon customer’s request.
3) Cartridges are suitable for a wide variety of devices including portable gas ranges, camping stoves, range grills, camping lanterns and even portable gas heaters.
Smart Choice
1) Butane gas cartridges are filled with flammable liquefied gas. We attached a spring type safety valve to release the cartridge’s vaporized gas, focusing on user safety.
2) The safety valve helps users avoid damage from an accidental fire or explosion while using gas appliances with our company’s butane gas cartridges.
3) The valve operates when the canister’s pressure is increased by any external factor, such as fire. Through the safety hole, vaporized gas will be released to maintain the canister’s normal pressure. By this process, the canister can be ready for reuse after the pressure is returned to normal.
4) Hwasan’s safety valve product has been confirmed through “Research of butane gas cartridge with safety device” by the Institute of KGS R&D.

HWASAN began as HWASAN INDUSTRY and has produced butane gas cartridges, all kinds of aerosol products, and empty canisters for lacquer, detergents and so on more than 20 years.
We were late getting into the market of the butane manufacturing industry though, after changing our company name as HWASAN COMPANY, LIMITED., registered the patent of ‘over-pressure safety device of the container for gas fuel’ which was the butane gas cartridge industry’s long-term objective in 2005. And based on this, The butane gas cartridge with the ‘safety valve’, as known as ‘pressure-relief device’, that our company developed could pass “The exception standard regarding manufacturing, inspection and gas filling of the container equipped with safety valve for portable gas cooker” (※http://www.koenergy.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=37945) in 2008. So we could release the butane gas cartridge safety valve equipped on July, 2011 and became the sole company which manufactures them in the whole world as well as Korea.It was possible to accomplish not only thanks to all executives and staff members’ endless efforts with the sense of duty that safety of customers is the first priority for many years but customers who have trusted and used our products. Thus HWASAN, the small but strong company could accomplish the thing which the Korean leading company could not do.
