You can select from 200, 500, 700 and 1000mA currents to charge the batteries. If two or less batteries are inserted in slot 1 and/or slot 4, then the charging current can reach up to 1500mA or 1800mA. When battery is fully charged, the charger will switch to trickle charging automatically. The charger also has overheating detection to protect rechargeable batteries and the actual charger from overheating.
