1 General introduction
HYGS Automatic 10KV Capacitance & Dissipation Factor Test Set is applied to measure the dissipation factor (PF) of insulating materials in heavy interference site such as power plants or power substations. It can also be applied in laboratory for high accurate capacitance and dissipation test. The tester is whole in one designed: including precision digital bridge, power unit, reference capacitor (CN), step-up transformer and other electronic circuits. When started, it’s running automatically and then outputs the results on LCD display and prints the results automatically.
Application warning
1) Please read the manual carefully before testing
2) The operator of the tester should get a certification of high voltage electrical test from local government
3) Please do not use the tester in rain, high temperature, large amount of dust environment
4) Keep avoid strong turbulent to the tester
5) The tester should be repaired by certificated engineer if there is a fault in the tester
6) Please connect the grounding terminal with earth first before other connections made
7) The test voltage is high operator and test engineer should keep enough distance from the sample and high voltage cable for safety protection
