MESE started out as a small business in Rottenburg, Germany (2003) distributing chic lifestyle products. Our first foray into the marketplace was via design-focused online shopping sites. The popularity quickly spread globally, leading to partnerships with 8 different European companies as an exclusive license reseller, then exporting to countries like Japan, Hong Kong, and France.

 

Our first big break came through the creation of “The Hot-Pack Doll.” A palm-sized doll and handwarmer in one, it was a huge hit and helped our mostly-online company to expand by landing in a large number of physical storefronts. Since then, we began licensing several characters, such as the hugely popular NHK in Japan character “Domo-kun” and Korea’s own animation character, “MANEMO.”

 

We currently have a new animation in the works, along with corresponding character items in production. Just like our tagline, “We make ideas into a reality,” we aspire to create products spawned by great ideas, improving the quality of lives everywhere. We’re constantly generating new ideas and hope to bring these smart products to the global market.
