The Pelton turbines range from 80 to 1,200 m in water head, 0.2 to 80MW in capacity and 0.6 to 3.5 m in runner diameter. Theirs shaft arrangements are either vertical or horizontal and they may have single nozzle, twin or multi-nozzles with characteristics such as high head, big capacity, multi-nozzle and compacted structure, etc.
