Express X80

The Express 80 has been designed for high performance, optimum manoeuvring capabilities and excellent sea-keeping characteristics.

The hull is a high lift, deep V-type with a hard chine, planing type. This hull form results in outstanding speed with high transverse stability and a sea kindly motion underway in any sea condition. The incorporation of integral tanks in the bottom of the hull allows for excellent range and represents a great safety element. They create a watertight double bottom, which protects against the consequences of damage to the hull. Moreover, the location and uniform distribution of the liquids on the bottom increases the stability and helps the Yacht to maintain a constant trim at all loading conditions.

The propulsion system is composed of two diesel engines, each driven by a fixed pitch propeller through a reduction gear. The Yacht will be equipped with a couple of semi-compensated spade rudders and one bow thruster.

The electric power required for ship service shall be supplied by two diesel generators.
Particular care will be taken to noise insulation all over the boat, and in particular to critical noise and vibration sources as main engines, rotating equipment and air/gases ducts.

At design stage, particular care will be put on maintenance friendly systems and equipment, so to reduce maintenance time after launch.

The layout includes a main deck featured with a large lounge-dining area, day head, kitchen, pilot house and an outdoor relax area at the bow. The lower deck is featured by the crew area and four cabins for eight guests: a full beam owner cabin with an ample bathroom and dressing room, two twin cabins and a VIP at the bow.

The contemporary style interior play about as light-dark and gloss-matt contrasts through the use of different types of wood, leather, textiles, steel and lacquered surfaces in combination with a bespoke lighting project.
