Features of the deliquescent air dryer

The unpowered deliquescent air dryer operates by utilizing a desiccant to absorb the moisture in the compressed air without the need for a powered mechanism, eliminating the need for complex maintenance and enabling any operator to install and run the air dryer. The only maintenance required is the refilling of the desiccant approximately 2~3times per year by checking the level via the sight glasses on both sides of the vessel.

In addition, the deliquescent air dryer solves the problem of secondary condensation occurring in units where the process takes place more than 100 meters from the machine room and external moisture infiltrates into the piping due to the molecular pressure difference within and without the piping (pinhole effect). Maintenance costs are reduced by the small number of moving parts, and outdoor installation is possible even in temperatures lower than -20°C

• Design pressure 9.9 kg/cm2, Maximum operating pressure 9.0 kg/cm2 (If pressure of 10 kg/cm2 or higher is required, customized units are available)
  
  
• BD200 and bigger model are assembled with twin vessels, and shell be order made from BD400, Auto drain valve EDV15 can be supplied by optional requirement.
  
  
• These specifications may be modified to improve quality.
  
  
• Deliquescent air dryer was designed to drain out a condensate water manually inside of vessel. Auto drain valve EDV15 can be supplied by optional requirement for user convenience only
  
  
• Deliquescent air dryer desiccant(DOL, SP) should be protected from oil through the filter (0.01μm), When an oil comes into desiccant bed, the desiccant performance may not be guaranteed.
