Introduction

This specification applies slotted core.
Hyesung.s .Slotted Core. which is made of a tension member covered with extruded polyethylene with some grooves having Z, S, and SZ rotating direction. Is used in optical fiber cable.

Features

• High precision in the pitch of the outside diameter, groove dimensions and other dimensions ensures easy bundling of fiber ribbon.
• Since strong adhesion of the tension member located in the center to the surrounding polyethylene coating minimized thermal shrinkage. this ensures stable quality for the optical cable.
• A wide range of tape core sizes are available, with the number of cores ranging from a few cores to a large number of cores.
• Use of the glass FRP and the aramid fiber FRP in the center enables the production of lightweight, electrically non-conductive optical cables.
• Use of special polyethylene ensures excellence in surface roughness in the groove, a feature required for tight structures.
