Maesil Plus Plum Hot Pepper Paste

It is made by making fermented soybean powder from quality beans and peppers grown by self-employed farmers or neighboring farmhouse producers, mixing the flesh of plums after separating the seeds with refined salt and plum extract and then fermenting it in a jar in a traditional method of preservation.

This plum hot pepper paste do not contain any glutinous rice paste or wheat flour paste.

It is recommended for sauces in making side dishes for rice or vinegared red pepper paste for Bibimbop (Boiled rice with assorted mixtures) due to its rich flavor and hot and sour taste.
