Properties: No odor, no toxicity. Soluble in lower concentration alkali, CS2, benzene, acetone and CH2CL2, partly solube in chloroform, hardly soluble in alcohol, CCL4, and ethyl acetate.
Uses: Used for NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR, HR, EPDM, natural and synthetic latexes. Stronger accelerating powder than TMTD, strong resistance to scorching. Handling should be carefully because of its increasing activation and strong tendency to scorch at low temperatures(100℃). Often used as a secondary accelerator. In latex, better results are obtained when used in combination with thiazole accelerators. Used for rubber coated fabrics, latex products and rubber cements, etc.
