1. Development Purpose and Background

In the age that construction technology and materials are running towards the cutting edge, the drain stink generated from a drain such as toilet, kitchen, washing room and veranda etc is not yet perfectly cut off owing to an old-fashioned way.

Most of the existing method is the one like U Trap or P Trap and water sealing type. Hence when water dries up, it is not functioning at all and it needs a lot of installation cost and installation time and as it has a lot of spatial restriction too, it is difficult to apply for every place.

Since the drainpipe is mostly being connected by its characteristic, if any one place is not cut off, it become a situation the whole cannot be effectual.

Furthermore as clogging caused by alien substance is severe it also has a weakness that repair and maintenance cost takes a lot. First and foremost, the greatest problem is that many people live suffering pain because it is not able to prevent the drain stink perfectly.

The I-Trap which is quite simple and has no spatial restriction was developed so as to cut off the drain stink perfectly by the same way constantly under any conditions.

Since it is opened as much as the water volume when water drains, it certainly shut off the influx of air flowed backward from the outside manhole.

As it simply mount on the various piping entrance, it can be deemed all-in-one piping and any other device to cut off a stink is not necessary. Moreover it is possible to mount on a drain-outlet irrespective of any type of the drain-outlet. Therefore it is possible to install in a building where most of the pipes are connected without omission of any spot and a bad smell can perfectly be cut off.

It is possible to simply mount on a bathtub or rainwater pipe, washing machine, sink and the like where a stink interception trap cannot be installed. There is no case to produce a stench on account of long time nonuse and even if there is no water, it perfectly cut off the stench always equally.

In the event of preventing a stink by water previously, water would dry up or bacteria caused by standing water which is for the stink prevention propagate, give out a bad smell due to standing water and alien substance entangling was a lot too.

Since the I-Trap is not an interception method by water, constantly the floor is dry and there is no bacterial generation and alien substance entangling does not exist at all and as it does not have moisture completely excepting when use water, effect and feeling just like a main room can be produced.

The product's manipulating method or composition is quite simple and the materials are semi-permanent elements (silicone, stainless steel, ABS resin) and when the product gets faulty, replacement is simple.

5. Comparison with the Existing Method

When the sun shines and the outside weather gets warm, the indoor air is pushed outside passing a septic tank through a drain then goes up in the air by the convection current phenomenon.
