The technology-intensive raw material PIA (Purified Isophthalic Acid) is produced by only seven companies in six countries (the US, Japan, China, Spain, Singapore and Korea). As one of the leading manufacturers in the world and the only producer in Korea our company is capable of producing 70,000MT of high-quality PIA annually.

Our PIA is manufactured through a vertically integrated production system that starts with Mixed-Xylene and continues through Meta-Xylene in order to control costs and ensure quality. KP chemical PIA has proven to be of top quality in domestic and international markets.

At KP chemical, we have been producing PIA since July 1998 using our in-house technology, and we have been exporting to countries all over the world. We also supply domestic Korean market, where we currently hold approximately a 70% share.

Characteristics

At KP chemical, our control of the supply chain allows us to pass on savings to the customer while ensuring quality. We produce our own Meta-Xylene, which represents approximately 70% of the total material costs. We also meet ISO 9001 standards.
