High Speed Seed Laser Diode Driver
The High Speed Seed LD Driver (HSLDD) module is an efficient module for the seed source driver and TE cooled laser applications. This HSLDD module is a kind of the laser driver that can be used as short pulse laser drivers, high power pump LD drivers or SLED Broadband source drivers. The HSLDD module outputs very short pulse up to 400ps width and various shape of laser pulse by superimposing the one high speed pulse and two high current pulses generated by the built-in high speed FPGA processor. This module also can output up to 1.9A peak current of pulse and 1A bias current. By using the LD temperature monitoring and TE cooler function of this module, the temperature LD can be controlled very stably.
The HSLDD module can be controlled and monitored through the Graphic User Interface (GUI) on a remote PC which is connected via a USB2.0. This module can also be controlled by using the rotary knob on the board. By using the GUI and knob, users can control the pulse width, repetition rate, current, pulse shape and thresholds.
