  • First opened in Sinjuku in 1996, Saboten has expanded its franchise business to 450 restaurants, emerging as the leading high-class donkatsu (pork cutlet) restaurant chain in Japan. In 2001, OURHOME formed a strategic alliance with Japan Green house and introduced this traditional Japanese donkatsu restaurant in Korea.
  • The word "Saboten" is a Spanish word meaning a "cactus", a hardy plant that can live for more than 6 months without water.
  • For the unforgettable taste of donkatsu, OURHOME has developed its food material in Japan for 30 years. The food materials prepared using strict quality management procedure really make a excellence in taste.
  • Saboten serves over 40 different donkatsu dishes. In Korea, the first Saboten franchise opened in October 2001 in Mugyo-dong.
    Then, the Meong-dong, Apgujeong, Shinsegae Kangnam restaurants opened under the direct management of OURHOME, and the Apgujeong station, Buchun Aiinsworld, Samsung station restaurants opened as affiliated branches. Currently, a total of 7 franchise restaurant are in operations in Korea.
  • OURHOME plans to open about 60 or more of the directly managed franchise restaurants nationwide by year 2005, to secure our No.1 position in the traditional Japanese donkatsu market.
