Product Information
Sodium Erythorbate is a weaker antioxidant than L-ascorbic acid. It is widely used as an antioxidant in food industry such as meat product, carbonated beverages, frozen fruits, canned vegetables, jam and wine.
Sodium Erythorbate can enhance curing action of nitrites on meat pigments, stabilize color of meat, meat products and fruits, and inhibit growth of microorganisms and formation of N-nitrosamines in cured meats.
