Assemble EMG-KIT(BME-KIT Series)

Overview

It is an educational kit which measures EMG signals from the human body and outputs analog signals through amplification and filtering. It is provided with raw materials and user's manual and helps students understand principles of measuring the EMG including components, filtering methods and electronic circuits through assembling, checking and measuring.

The kit observes output signals depending on configuration for amplification and cut-off frequencies of filters. It measures electromyogram through lead wires and embeds LED display for electromyogram envelope with higher than a certain value.

The kit measures EMG signals and connects the company's test kits including μDAQ-KIT and SimDAQ-KIT to monitor precisely and accurately outputs for each biosignal processing step. The monitoring may be performed by an oscilloscope with isolation power instead of the company’s test kits.

Application

Recording electric signals related to the muscle contraction on the skin

* Align + electrode(red) and - electrode(black) electrodes along with the same line of the muscle
* The ground electrode (green) is arbitrarily located around +/- electrode
* Measure electromyogram by increasing muscle strength.
