Description

SG-1100T is s flowable polyolefin wax dispersion based on toluene. It is designed for giving the desirable surface properties of paint films by floating to the top of the film surface. This floating phenomenon will affect the following properties : the degree of matting / gloss; slip and mar resistance; anti-blocking and abrasion properties, anti-settling and surface tension.

Incorporation

Rapid dispersion can be achieved with conventional dispersion devices such as high shear sand, pebble and rollor mills. SG-1100T should be present during the dispersion stage, preferably premixed in the vehicle-solvent blend before the addition of other mill base components.

Recommended Level

The typical addition level will vary depending on the type of coating formulations and required degree of matting effect. Recommended amount in industrial coatings is 2~8% based on total formulation weight.

Storage

SG-1100T should be stored in the tightly closed original container in a cool and dry place at 5 ~ 30°C. Avoid exposure to heat source and direct sunlight. Under recommended storage condition, SG-1100T may be stored up to 6 months.
