Xon® Cleaning Pad

MCK´s Xon® Pads are made of the advanced polymeric resin which is blended with or without various abrasives for polishing and finishing a wide variety of materials. Xcore® has a microcellular pore matrix throughout the material and a sensitive and durable surface to withstand the demands of polishing with slurries containing abrasives.

Xcore® is available in different physical properties with or without abrasives for example, Aluminium Oxide, Silicone Carbide, Cerium Oxide and so on. Lower density products have a more open pore structure. All Xcore® are compatible with standard polishing and finishing slurries. It is possible to attach PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) tape on the back side of the product and to groove the surface of Xcore® for enhancing polishing and finishing efficiency.

Typical Specification of Disc Type Cleaning Pad

• Rotation Speed of Disc Pad : 400 ~ 600 rpm
• Dics Pressure against Glass : 2.0 ~ 5.0 kg/cm²
• Life Time : 7,000 ~ 8,000 Sheet/pad(17 inch LCD panel)
• Di water should be sprayed on LCD panel before Disc Pad cleaning.
• Knife Cleaner can be change to Disc Pad without IPA solvent.
• Abrasives Tape Cleaner is line-contact but Disc Pad surface-contact against Panel.
• Width of Abrasives Tape is usually 6 inch but Disc Pad 12 inch in diameter, so larger LCD Panel can be effectively cleaned in a shorter cleaning time.
