GENERAL

‧ Wedge socket are wire rope end-termination for connecting or, tied up.

‧ 75~90% tension strength effect of Wire rope's breaking load.

‧ Wedge socket are produce by Casting (alloy) steel

‧ The wedge socket should be applicate 6~8 Strand wire rope of designated size.

‧ The tail length of the dead end should be minimum of 6 rope diameters but not less than 6" and, not over 150mm length.

‧ Load may slip or if the wedge socket is not properly installed.

‧ Always select the wedge and socket for the wire rope size. (The wire rope shall not pass through the "NO-GO" hole in the wedge)

‧ The wedge socket should be inspected for deformation, wearing or defect at least every 6 months.

‧ The product, if there is deformation or wearing which exceeds the limit of 5%, should be relieved of its forced load and replaced with a new one.
