Dolwe (Gynostemma Pentaphyllum Makino), Deonggul Tea ( Gynostemma Pentaphyllum Makino), drink, tea bag drink, tea, health tea, saponin
Durebang SAPONA tea bag is made up of dried Dolwe 23 % and corn tea 77 % to alleviate bitter taste of Dolwe and one tea bag contains 2 g of Dolwea. Drink warm or cold sapona instead of water or barley tea after mixing one tea bag with 1-2 L of water and boiling it for 3-5 minutes. This product is one pack of 100 tea bags for 100 days (one tea bag per day).
Dolwe is a plant growing in Korea, Japan and China and its scientific name is Gynostemma Pentaphyllum Makinow belonging to family cucurbit. According to Korean Plant Dictionary, it is called Dolwe, Gyogoram, Sugukcha, Sugukgamcha, Deonggul tea.
Japanese professor Takemoto first revealed that this Dolwe contains much content of saponin similar to the component of Korean Ginseng and it is known that it contains crude saponin about 4-7 % and active component of Dolwe is gypenoside.

Founded as a Korean traditional food processing factory with area of about 5300 pyung and floor space of about 500 pyung in production area by the support of the Ministry of Agriculture in May 1991, Durebang Foods Inc. is a traditional food processing firm located in Jeongjang-Ri, Geochang-eup, Geochang-Gun, Kyungnam, Korea.
We are producing Sikhyemakinghe, processed malt with which even kindergartener and foreigner are able to make Sikhye easily, Sikhye(Sweet Drink made from Fermented Rice, a kind of traditional food), Sujeonggwa(Sweet Drink made from Persimmon), Sesame Oil, Perilla Oil and Parched Sesame. Our products also include Cheonggukjang (Fermented Soy bean, Raw Cheonggukjang, Powered Cheonggukjang, Cheonggukjang Pill)), Canned Cheonggukjang, seasonings such as Anchovy Dasi(seasonings made from anchovy), Cham Anchovy, Prawn, health foods such as Pleuropterus multflorus and Flex seed.
Also Sapona(Gynostemma pentaphyllum extract) and Green Chilli Pepper Seasonings Sauce and Jajang for children have already been developed and are going to be launched into market in late 2009.
