Product Information
PCR Process
Duretek with its years of expertise in chemical engineering and process development field has developed, patented, unique High ROI process of PCR(Plastics Catalysis Recycle), for converting plastics to high quality kerosene/diesel oil (PTL Technology; Plastic To Liquid) and also made Technical Assistance Agreement with Earth Recycle Co., Japan, to incorporate proven Know-How of Japan which had been successfully running PCR Plant since YR 2000 and had consumed the reclaimed oil in public vehicles and schools.
Plastics Recycling is categorized according to three methods; Material Recycle(MR),
Thermal Recycle(TR), and Chemical Recycle(CR). MR can be applied for plastic
wastes that could be sorted by chemical compound(PET, 3P; PP,PE,PS).
TR is applied to mixed plastic wastes but generates disastrous Dioxin pollution.
CR is applied stepwise eliminating pollutants in primary stage obtaining clean
fuel oil.
Waste Plastics are collected and sorted for MR at the Plastics Recycling Center
run by the local governments, The left outs of the sorting line which consists
mainly of packaging plastic films, are then disposed via Incineration and/or
Landfill, which could be converted in PCR Plant to valuable Fuel Oil; i.e. Kerosene
and Diesel oil.
Market
The domestic competitors up to date were not successful in commercializing the PCR process and also local R&D Institutes developing PTLtechnology on government funds are yet in pilot stage and would require years for trial running before final commercialization.
Our purpose is to install Commercial Size PCR Prototypel Plant, commissioning it successfully and launching the $3 billion Blue Ocean Korean Market, pioneering / leading / innovating the process and also expanding it to the Global Market in the long terms, which would be the basis for our initiative in challenging global sustainable/renewable energy market.
Average Net Profit Local Governments could gain from this project would amount
to be $500 million per annum, not to mention $200 million per annum cost for
disposal incurred formerly.
Financial
Duretek Inc. seeks $5 million Initial Financing for the construction of 10MTPD PCR Prototype Plant. By demonstrating the Model Plant, PCR plant could be appealed as a very attractive project for the Local Governments; presenting environmental solution, providing alternative energy and promising High ROI, which would lead to expansion of PCR Plant, most presumably, with very short marketing period supported by subsequent financing.
Duretek's Revenue and Net Income is expected to expand by the year, and revenue in 4th fiscal years shall exceed US$100 Million.
