Beloved Intelligent pet robot Genibo

The Genibo-QD is a "Smart Robotic Puppy" to be released for sale for the first time in Korea. This robotic puppy can walk around on its own, recognize its master with its own eyes, responds to the master's words and touch, play tricks, and cuddle up to the master as if alive.

	Expression of feelings As there are touch sensors at head, back, and flank, Genibo expresses good feelings at long and tender touches, however, it shows bad feelings at short and hard ones.
	Response to owner's commands Genibo carries out about 100 voice commands such as 'sit down', 'turn left', 'exercise', 'good boy', and so on.
	Detection of faces According to perception of movements, detection of faces, and recognition of master through a camera at the tip of its nose, Genibo shows various reactions.
	Obstacles Detection Genibo has distance sensor which helps it to recognize cliffs and obstacles and to escape those dangerous situations by itself. In addition, when Genibo falls, it corrects its posture by itself by detecting its own status.
	Remote Control You can command Genibo to detect faces, to play contents, to record and play voice, to recognize voice, to move, to play funny actions, and to play users' contents by remote control.
	Durable joints Genibo is an articulated robot composed of 15 actuators. As the most of the joints have the application of slip gear respectively, even when you bend it over or lift it up, joints are not easily broken. [Genibo may be destructed if you pull it by force or drop it to the floor.]

Key functions

Motion edit
By simply moving joints of Genibo with a mouse, you can make a new pose. Putting these poses in order, you will have your own motion contents. [Detailed numeric control is also available]

Emoticon edit
Through LED edit window, users can add or modify the emoticons of their pets.

Wake-up call, alarm service :
Using users' voice recording files or another mp3 files, user can make up his timetable and send it to the Genibo

Voice memo
One of family can leave messages to the others using voice recording.

Saving and playing MP3
After saving mp3 files to your Genibo, you can enjoy those whenever you want.

Dance edit
Similar to 'motion edit', You can make your own dance motions or download and modify another user's motion files from 'www.genibo.com'.

Remote control
You can control Genibo in a living room suing a PC in your room remotely and also can take pictures.

Album management
You can move and manage pictures stored at Genibo to your PC.

Al index management
You can confirm and adjust the current artificial indices of Genibo.

Use method

• Through remote control menu, user can connect Genibo to the wireless router (using wireless LAN).
• And then, it is possible to control through PC Control Manager software provided by DASAROBOT.
