KZ Warnamas (M) Sdn Bhd (KZ) was incorporated in April 1997 and has been actively involved in the R&D for the past 2 years to produce a premium quality of Roselle tea out of Roselle fresh calyxes or its scientific name Hibiscus Sabdariffa in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
For commercialization of the Roselle tea products, KZ received a strong support from Malaysia Technology Development and Corporation (MTDC) to develop the products. Together with the support of resources from university's R&D, the company has acquired vast knowledge on Roselle tea of its nutrition value as well as process improvement.
There is a huge potential business opportunities for agricultural products that KZ could explore. In line with this, the company is now planning to embark into large scale production to cater for the potentially huge international market while serving the locals.
