Fiber Cement Board

What is Fiber Cement Board?

 Fiber cement board (or Fiber Cement Siding) is a composite material made of sand, cement and cellulose fibers. In appearance fiber cement board most often consists of overlapping horizontal boards, imitating wooden siding, clapboard and imitation shingles. Fiber cement board is also manufactured in a sheet form and is used not only as cladding but is also commonly used as a soffit / eave lining and as a tile underlay on decks and in bathrooms. Fiber cement board is not only used as an exterior siding, it can also be utilized as a substitute for timber fascias and barge boards in high fire areas.

STATEMENT: The tapping screw and nail can be used in board directly by screw-gun or nail-gun for adhering to wall. No matter how powerful impact is used to drive a screw, the boards never crack. (The surface can be perfected by sanding)

Product Features

(1) Fiber Cement Board is Non-flammability: non-flammable and conforms to the national grade A standard (GB8624 Grade A) with excellent fire resistance property. In case of fire, the board will not burn and not give off poisonous smoke.

(2) Fiber Cement Board is Heat insulating: Owing to low heat conductivity, the product has good performances on keeping warm and heat insulation.

(3) Fiber Cement Board is Water-proofing and moisture proof: The product is allowed to long-term expose to moist environment but still very stable. The board still keeps Intact after being soaked in water for one month, the phenomenon of swelling and out of shape will not happen. It has good adjusting mechanics like woods. Even it is used on wash house.

(4) Fiber Cement Board is Problem-free: Fiber Cement Board provides good insulation against bugs, fungus and corrosion. It can last for a long-time and will not corrode. After tests under ASTM G-21, this board has been found to be Non-Nutrient to Mold, Fungus Growth or Insect Life.

(5) Fiber Cement Board is Noise-proofing: Fiber Cement Board provides good insulation against noise. After Inspection by the National Center for Quality Supervision and Testing of Fire Building Materials (NFTC) it has been found that the Superior Sound Insulation Factor of a Wall built from the board ranges between 44dB and 47 Db.

(6) Fiber Cement Board is High-Strength and Lightweight: Owing to the density is not high, the board is light weight, in this case, it can decrease weight of building greatly. At the same time, the material is high-strength and not easy to be damaged.

(7) Fiber Cement Board is Easiness to construct: The construction process does not require complicated tools but just the ones used in regular wood construction. Our board can be fixed on light steel frame with self-attachable screws or a glue gun to nail the bolts into the wooden frame.

(8) Fiber Cement Board is Good for environment: Fiber Cement Board is 100% free of Asbestos Fiber and will not cause any harm to human body or the environment.
