The tile-roofed house, a Korean traditional house, was used as the residential space for the high-class people.
This house shows the wisdom of our ancestor arranging the space in consideration of residential environment by dividing the space based on the social position, sex distinction and age.
Natural stonewas used for the stylobate, wood was used for the door, floor and main floored room, straw and clay were used for the wall, so this house was cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Our ancestor finished the window with Korean paper made of pulp and floor with Korean paper and soybean oil for the waterproofing effect.
The clay title is a roof material made by baking the clay.  You may feel the soft temper and attraction through the line of roof, wall and pattern of door.
