• Rockwell Type (DTR Series) Hardness Testing is an indentation testing method. It is a general method for measuring the hardness of metallic and polymer materials. It is chief advantage is it’s ability to display hardness values directly, obviating texfous calculations involved in order hardness measurement. Also, the relatively simple and inexpensive set-up makes it’s a second point. It involves the application of a minor load followed by a major load and it well show the hardness value directly from a dial or depth meters.
