Product testing at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2024

T, a cosmetics manufacturer, has been driven by the mission of promoting healthy beauty since its foundation in 2002. Dr. DYK, its main brand that embodies T’s commitment to helping people keep their skin young and healthy, stands at the forefront of the company’s efforts to publicize K-beauty to more people all around the world. T operates franchises in Shenyang, Shanghai, and Yiwu in China and is exporting to the U.S. and many countries in Asia where the quality of its products is known to local consumers.

T was selected to make the list of eight companies that participated in “Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2024”, which was jointly hosted by KITA and Gangnam-gu Office in March 2024. Under the support program, 70% of T’s rental and installation costs were covered by a subsidy when it opened its store at the online exhibition hall of tradeKorea, and it was matched with buyers prior to the expo. In addition, T had an opportunity to showcase its products to buyers from around the world at two prior meetings with buyers.

As anti-aging is becoming a major trend in the beauty market, the popularity of at-home anti-aging skin care products, including wrinkle and pigment darkening that consumers can do at home, is growing accordingly. Designed to reflect this trend, T’s products drew much attention from overseas buyers and led to a high rate of successful meetings at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2024. A U.S. buyer that deals with salon-quality products was greatly impressed by T’s product quality after it tested Ultra Vita C Serum, Dr. DYK’s flagship product, and carefully examined its anti-wrinkle, melasma-lightening, and general whitening effects. The buyer discussed an ampoule OEM deal and continued talks with T.


To enter the U.S. market, it is essential to acquiring FDA approval. As a result, it took more than six months for T to make the ampoule requested by the buyer and obtain FDA approval. The buyer was satisfied with the product, and the two parties have since been in talks about additional orders. The matching manager has been helping T to develop channels of overseas sales by matching it with more buyers and providing it with a list of buyers since the end of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2024. T expressed its deepest gratitude to KITA for sparing no effort in assisting it with overseas expos and providing its buyer-seller matching services.
