"MR SHARCS" is the next-generation active MR damper. 

Traditional passive dampers are limited in their ability to adjust damping force, as the passage for oil flow remains fixed, resulting in a predetermined damping force based solely on the speed of vertical movement between the chassis and the wheels. The most common method for adjusting damping force currently utilized is through ECS dampers, which utilize solenoid valves or stepper motors to regulate the oil passage area. However, the response time of these valves is not sufficiently fast to provide suitable damping force for rapidly changing road conditions in real-time, leading to limitations.

In contrast, the MR SHARCS damper by ESLINK is a controllable damper that can adjust damping force according to the vehicle's driving conditions by regulating the size of the oil passage or changing the viscosity of the oil (utilizing MR Fluid, a magnetorheological fluid). By altering the viscosity of the oil within the damper, the MR damper can change damping force more than dozens of times per second, allowing it to adapt to various driving environments effectively. This capability significantly enhances vehicle stability and ride comfort. Moreover, it notably reduces lateral sway during emergency braking situations on roads, thereby improving ride comfort and distinguishing itself by reducing the risk of accidents.
