Product Description
Ji Pyeong Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in Korea, built during the Japanese colonial era in 1925, and was designated as Registered Cultural Heritage of Korea No. 594 in 2014 as architectural styles of Joseon (Korea) and Japanese remain throughout the building.
The building was designed for brewing makgeolli (rice wine) from the beginning, with ventilation facilities on the roof of the second floor and a layer of rice husks between the ceilings so that the temperature and humidity can be properly controlled. Ji Pyeong Brewery is currently undergoing a cultural heritage restoration project, and after restoration, this place will be reborn as a place where you can see, experience, and feel the history of Ji Pyeong.
