The GSM GPRS Modbus SMS Modem is a programmable and flexible I/O port remote terminal unit(RTU). Through the RS232/485 serial port, it can monitoring up to 320 combined additional I/O or intelligent meters or PLC. It is special for IoT, M2M, M2H applications. E.g. Remotely BTS monitoring, data acquisition, telemetrically, BTS access control and other applications. It supports voice, SMS, GPRS, 3G, 4G and Ethernet communications.

The GSM 3G 4G Modbus SMS Modem supports Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, TCP/UDP protocol, transparent data transmission over SMS,GPRS/3G/4G, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, performs as Modbus Master or Modbus Slave.

The GSM 3G 4G Modbus SMS Modem also can be used as Modbus RTU converter to SMS Alarm, it can read the data from the remote I/O modules,and compare the present value to trigger SMS alert the users or not.
