Ceramic fiber blanket is made from high strength spun ceramic fiber and features superior thermal insulation property, low density, resistance to thermal shock, excellent sound absorption, good chemical stability, easy to cut and install. It does not contain any binders and is a fine substitute for asbestos. Its applications include high temperature kiln and furnace insulation and repair, expansion joint sealing, high temperature chemical reactor linings, insulation materials for steam and gas turbines, wrapping materials for pipes, investment casting mold, etc.
