Chemical name: 2,4,5,6-tetrachloro-1,3-benzenedicarbonitrile
Molecular Formula: C8Cl4N2
Properties: The pure chlorothalonil is white, odorless crystal, Melting Point: 250-251 ℃;melting point: 350℃;Solubility in water(25℃): 0.6ml/L;Solubility in Other Solvents (g/kg): acetone 2g/kg.; cyclohexanol 30g/kg; kerosene <10g/kg; xylene 80g/kg， it’s stable under normal, acidic ,alkaline and ultraviolet radiation condition, non-corrosive effect.
Application: Chlorothalonil is a high efficacy, broad spectrum and safe fungicide for agricultural and forest usage, It has protective and remedial efficacy, long persistent time .It is as fungicide to prevent and cure wilt of cotton, anthracnose of cotton, rust of peanut, also can prevent and cure anthracnose of cucumber, powdery mildew of cucumber, early blight of tomato，downy mildew, black and brown spot and so on.
