Aramid Ripcord
│ DESCRIPTION │
This is made of aramid, used for easy removal of the cable jacket. The ripcords are manufactured from aramid continuous filament fiber and are twisted and coated with a non-wick resin and optional color pigment. The coating also improves snag resistance during cable processing and improves the ripcords durability when tearing through jackets and armor. Ripcords are available in long continuous lengths and can be supplied on a variety of packages. Ripcord colors may be used to distinguish them from strength members, or for manufacturers identification purposes.
Eliminates jacket bulges Non-wick coating adds snag resistance and toughness Rips through a wide range of jacket materials and thickness. All coatings are water based and environmentally safe for easy removal of the cable jacket cuts through corrugated steel tape and aluminium foil can be used in almost any kind of cable for easy access to the cable core. Water-blocking version is also available delivered with a certificate of conformity.
